Radar is a 4 year old quarter horse mule, I broke to ride this past spring. We pretty much just trail ride, we live in north Florida and are looking to move Southwest in the near future.
Say hi to Clay — the mule dressed as an elephant! Hannah shared that in this picture, Clay is all dressed up for the Bishop Mule Days comedy load back in 2016. He is being ridden by Hannah’s packing trainer, Carl.
Who has been to Mule Days?
Say hi to Taz! Fredi sent in this photo of her and Taz jumping off a rock, having fun together. Oh, and Fredi was proud to report that her saddle stayed in place.
Say hi to Lewis, Reliance, and ‘No Name’! Reliance is actually a ‘movie star’ — he was used in a past training video for Steve Edwards. Owner, Billie, says that the third mule doesn’t have a name — what name could you think of that would go great with Lewis and Reliance?
Say hi to these two mammoths! Owner (and rider) Dave sent in this photo and says that he takes these two into the mountains of Utah, a lot! He is a hunter and a trail rider.
Say hi to Goliath! Vicki sent in this picture of her 8 year old mammoth with her daughter, Emma, on board. They are just starting Goliath under saddle, looks like they found a good fit!
Say hi to Tizanes! Süzz sent us this picture of Tizanes, owned by one of her friends in Belgium, and said she is a funny little fjord mule. Süzz’s friend introduced her to mules and rode many longear trails together in the (Belgian & German) Eifel.
